Sarah is excited to apply her interdisciplinary background in food systems, soil science, and sustainability to addressing agricultural challenges. After graduating from Stanford University with a B.S. in Earth Systems, she began her career in Washington, D.C., where she developed environmental advocacy campaigns focused on ending deforestation in global commodity supply chains. Sarah then left for graduate school, where she has studied the effects of soil management practices on environmental and agronomic outcomes. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of California, Davis in Soils and Biogeochemistry.
